Inspired by Life & Nature
Patricia Rahme founded La Patrizia Jewelry in 2014 with her refreshingly directional, sustainable, and deeply personal approach to creating unique jewelry.
Her collections feature compellingly contemporary, unconventional, authentic, customized rings, bracelets, earrings, pendants, and necklaces with hand-carved textures and captivating rough lines. Embracing sustainability, she meticulously handmade each piece using responsibly sourced materials such as 18k Gold, Gold Vermeil, and 925 Sterling Silver from local suppliers.
After completing a double major in Advertising/Marketing and Radio/TV, Patricia Rahme garnered 12 years of professional experience in her field of study in the Middle East. Driven by her love for sculpting and rings, she embarked on a journey to Florence, Italy, to pursue her dreams. Patricia then enrolled at the esteemed Alessandro Dari Jewelry School under the guidance of Maestro Alessandro Dari. Maestro Dari, a distinguished jewelry sculptor, is renowned for his artistry and is respected as the Vatican's preferred artist. In 2020, he was appointed Italy's jewelry ambassador, solidifying his prestigious reputation further.
During her studies in Florence, she learned the original method of sculpting the mold of any jewelry piece. Though she did not have much experience in this field, the creative talent acquired in her original work field helped her excel in her new vocation. As a result, Patricia won a full scholarship at the Alessandro Dari Jewelry School to continue studying for an additional eight months.
After three intense years in Italy, Patricia returned to her home country, Lebanon, with a vision to create a new opportunity and revive the artistic craft of the Lebanese community. In April 2014, she set foot in Beirut, intending to establish her trademark. This led to the meticulous design of 245 ring jewelry pieces for her brand's grand launch at the prestigious Quantum Villa in Sursock, Beirut, by December 2014.
Patricia began crafting and showcasing her rings by applying the skills she acquired in Italy. Her brand gradually gained recognition through dedicated effort and became a favorite among celebrities in Lebanon and on the global stage. Her remarkable achievements led to her selection to present her creations at JA New York in Manhattan. This renowned event features over 725 most esteemed jewelry brands, designers, and suppliers worldwide. Moreover, Patrizia was the sole Lebanese jewelry designer handpicked by a diverse pool of international artists, including painters and sculptors, to participate in the esteemed World Art Dubai fair. Recently, she was interviewed by CNN Arabic.
Recently, some of her designs were selected to be exhibited by Gallerique Chicago, which showcases premier art from galleries, dealers, and artists worldwide.
At La Patrizia Jewelry, what distinguishes Patricia’s pieces is the meticulous handcrafting process from the initial design concept to the final creation. Each ring Patricia crafted is unique, bearing the mark of expert artistry and a personal touch. Incorporating various textures, materials, metals, and precious stones, every piece tells a story that reflects the individuality of its owner. Patricia firmly believes in imparting these artisanal methods alongside technical skills to aspiring artists in academic settings, recognizing their significance in fostering creativity and craftsmanship.
2017, Patrizia shifted her attention to education, launching her first innovative jewelry workshop at ESMOD Beirut and the University of Saint Joseph. She also introduced a gemstones seminar at Quest Education Center. Operating under the name Create by Patrizia, she consistently offers jewelry and creative workshops at her studio and in different fashion design programs worldwide, showcasing a long-lasting dedication to this pursuit. Building on this success, in 2023, she extended her workshops to ESMOD France in Paris.
In 2021, she relocated La Patrizia Jewelry to Barcelona, Spain, to establish a presence in the European market.
Patrizia's educational pursuits have addressed a notable void within Lebanon's jewelry industry, where a formal university degree focused on jewelry remains absent. Committed to advancing jewelry education, she is determined to establish a jewelry school anywhere in the world, demonstrating unwavering dedication to this cause.
